SiteScope — Terms of Use
Last updated: 31 May 2026
These terms govern the SiteScope survey application. They are separate from, and in addition to, the website Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where you have a signed order or agreement with us for SiteScope, that agreement takes precedence if it conflicts with these terms.
Account access may use Google authorisation (Google Sign-In); where it does, Google verifies your identity and we do not store your Google password. Paid access is sold through Paddle as Merchant of Record. Your use of this product is also subject to our Acceptable Use Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. About these terms
SiteScope ("Service") is provided by GO360 Limited ("GO360.biz", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in the Isle of Man with company number 139095C, registered office [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS, ISLE OF MAN]. By accessing or using SiteScope you agree to these terms.
2. The Service
SiteScope is a survey and mapping tool for chartered surveyors. It places geotagged photographs on maps, supports RICS Home Survey forms (Levels 1–3), and produces inspection reports.
3. Professional use, RICS forms and reliance
SiteScope is a tool to support qualified surveyors. References to the RICS Home Survey product are provided to assist professional users; RICS and its standards remain the property of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and SiteScope is not endorsed by or affiliated with RICS unless expressly stated. Survey opinions, condition ratings, and reports produced using the Service are the professional responsibility of the surveyor and their firm. We give no warranty as to the suitability of outputs for any particular purpose.
4. Access and your data
You retain all rights in the photographs, survey data, and reports you create ("Customer Data"). Where the Service stores data on our infrastructure, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, process, and transmit Customer Data solely to provide and support the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and lawful bases to capture and process Customer Data (including personal data and imagery of third-party property). We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service unlawfully, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt or reverse engineer it (except as permitted by law), upload malicious code, or infringe the rights of others.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, change, or discontinue features, and will use reasonable efforts to give notice of material changes.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding Customer Data and third-party open-source components), is owned by or licensed to GO360.biz. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your professional purposes during the term.
8. Third-party services
The Service may use third-party basemap and tile providers including Google Maps Platform (Map Tiles API) and MapTiler Cloud, and may be hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms (including Google Maps Platform and MapTiler terms), and we are not responsible for third-party services.
9. Open-source software acknowledgements
SiteScope is built with open-source software, loaded via package dependencies, CDN, or bundled vendor files. We acknowledge and thank the authors of the principal components below. Each remains the property of its respective authors and is used under its own licence:
- OpenLayers — BSD-2-Clause
- exifr — MIT
- proj4js — MIT
- Fabric.js — MIT
- aws4fetch — MIT
- Cloudflare Pages Functions (Wrangler) — MIT / Apache-2.0
This list covers principal components and may not be exhaustive. The full licence texts and a complete dependency manifest are available on request at our contact form.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", and we exclude all implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or anticipated savings, arising from use of the Service. Where you have a separate agreement with us, any liability cap in that agreement applies.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the Service, your Customer Data, or your breach of these terms.
13. Term and termination
These terms apply while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate access for breach or to comply with law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; any Customer Data held is handled in line with our retention practices.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of the Isle of Man, and the courts of the Isle of Man have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any contrary provision in a separate signed agreement.
